She's a Trooper!!!

My little peanut is such a trooper!!!! She had to go have blood work and an x-ray yesterday and I was really nervous!!!!! When she was little we had to have blood drawn and it was terrible, I mean shoes were flying off, she was kicking right out of my arms, it was UGLY. Well, this time, she did amazing!!! She sat down on my lap put her arm up on the chair rolled up her sleeve and was ready. She never shed a tear, never flinched, nothing!! She had 7 viles of blood drawn and just sat and watched, it was unbelievable!! She kept saying "See it Mommy, that's my bood" it was the cutest thing ever, cause of course she can't really say blood. So needless to say, she left there with stickers covering her pant legs and her sleeves. The x-ray even went fast, we got it on the first try!!!

We left there and had to make a trip to Target and she told me she was hungry so I asked her what she wanted (usually she says cereal or cereal bars) but this time she said nuggets and a burger. So off to Burger King we went!!

We are gearing up for Easter at the daycare. We are having an egg hunt and the kids will get their Easter baskets. I think I am officially prepared and have everything. I wish Easter didn't fall in March cause now we have to have the egg hunt in the house, which is just no fun in my book!! Since the egg hunt is in the house, we aren't doing real eggs, which kinda bums me out, cause I like coloring eggs with kids, but I REALLY don't want the mess of real eggs in the house! I'm lucky enough that my good friend Heather took all the eggs and is going to fill them for me! Thanks Heather, you're the bomb diggity girl!!

I'm so looking forward to a crop with my MI SISters on the 29th. Me and two of my friends are driving to Brighton to scrap and stamp for the day. Can't wait!!!

Happy Hump Day!!

LOL..cute story. My kiddo hated meds as a small one too. It used to take 3 adults just to hold her downa nd still long enough to get cough syrup down her. Geez and she kicked and screams the entire way!!! Whew glad those days are over.
I hope you and your family have a great Easter, sadly enough, we forgot it was Easter weekend end and I think we are scheduled to pick up our things from storage ...but oh well!! I really miss my things!

Happy Easter! It sounds like you have all the festivities planned and ready to go....I know, it is snowing HARD here right now. I too was hoping for an outdoor hunt, but not likely unless we want to do it in piles of snow!

Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing you next weekend!
