Easter Princess

Finally a few photos of Lily in her Easter dress!! She looked like such a little princess!! She was dancing in the full length mirror and saying "hi princess", of course those photos did not turn out! I've decided that this dress will be so cute this summer out in the grass, barefoot and with her fairy wings on. I'm going t make a point to get photos!!

Snow an Easter?? I mean seriously, enough is enough already!! Can we please have spring!!?? I at least had to take a few photos outside, even though it was COLD!! My child really should have had a coat and hat on, but sometimes you have to be cold for photos!!
Love his photo of Lily and her Daddy!!! She wanted nothing to do with being held onto either, she wanted to play in the snow!

We haven't gotten any results back from Lily's blood tests or her X-rays, hopefully soon we will know something, but no news is good news in my book! For those of you that I worried, I probably should have explained a little more why she had these tests done. The reason she had her tests is only because she is so little. She is a tiny little peanut, she is 26 months and is only 21 pounds 4 oz and she is 31 1/4 inches tall. The child isn't even on the charts yet! Now mind you her birth parents are only 5'2 and 5'3, so I believe she is going to be small, but the Dr. just wants to check everything out. I'll keep you all posted!

Not much going on here, just waiting to get Rob's suburban back from the shop. We haven't driven his truck since before Christmas!! His truck should be back any day now, we had to have the transmission worked on, UGH!!!! Paying out all that money is just no fun!!! Oh well, what do you do?? It had to be done!!

Happy Tuesday!!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter!!! Just a few quick shots from this morning.

Lily finds her Easter basket!

Lily Finding Eggs

Lily throwing eggs in her basket
I found them all Mommy!!
We had a great morning here, just relaxing and playing with Lily's bubbles from the Easter Bunny! Since its cold out, what the heck, we'll blow bubbles in the house!!

Lily had so much fun coloring eggs last night! Papa and Grammy and Auntie Robynn came over to color eggs too!

I have lots of photos to share from last night and more today after the princess gets all dressed up in her Easter dress to head to dinner!!

Have a wonderful Easter!!

She's a Trooper!!!

My little peanut is such a trooper!!!! She had to go have blood work and an x-ray yesterday and I was really nervous!!!!! When she was little we had to have blood drawn and it was terrible, I mean shoes were flying off, she was kicking right out of my arms, it was UGLY. Well, this time, she did amazing!!! She sat down on my lap put her arm up on the chair rolled up her sleeve and was ready. She never shed a tear, never flinched, nothing!! She had 7 viles of blood drawn and just sat and watched, it was unbelievable!! She kept saying "See it Mommy, that's my bood" it was the cutest thing ever, cause of course she can't really say blood. So needless to say, she left there with stickers covering her pant legs and her sleeves. The x-ray even went fast, we got it on the first try!!!

We left there and had to make a trip to Target and she told me she was hungry so I asked her what she wanted (usually she says cereal or cereal bars) but this time she said nuggets and a burger. So off to Burger King we went!!

We are gearing up for Easter at the daycare. We are having an egg hunt and the kids will get their Easter baskets. I think I am officially prepared and have everything. I wish Easter didn't fall in March cause now we have to have the egg hunt in the house, which is just no fun in my book!! Since the egg hunt is in the house, we aren't doing real eggs, which kinda bums me out, cause I like coloring eggs with kids, but I REALLY don't want the mess of real eggs in the house! I'm lucky enough that my good friend Heather took all the eggs and is going to fill them for me! Thanks Heather, you're the bomb diggity girl!!

I'm so looking forward to a crop with my MI SISters on the 29th. Me and two of my friends are driving to Brighton to scrap and stamp for the day. Can't wait!!!

Happy Hump Day!!

Thank You Janice

Once again I'm really slacking at this bloggin' thing!! I've been meaning to get these photos on the blog, so finally here they are.

Lily got a package in the mail last week from our wonderful (long time) friend Janice in CA! How cute is this sign??!!! Lily thought it was the coolest thing to get a box in the mail!! Thanks again Janice for all of the well wishes in the last year for our Princess!!

We are finally over the pink eye that Lily and our respite foster daughter had!!! Luckily no one else in the day care got it!!

Our respite foster daughter is going back to her foster parents tomorrow. We had so much fun having a baby around, and she was such a good girl!!

Tomorrow night we are having a new sitter for Lily, and I'm sure she will do great! Hard to believe that I used to take care of her in day care. I hope the Princess is good for her!

Here's a Friday fill in for ya'll!! Happy Friday!!

1. Contact may cause a lack of sleep (if you know what I mean!!).
2. The parties hereto do mutually agree to not talk about the transmission that it is in the shop cause it only leads to fight!!
3. Disney parks are a blast and I can't wait for the Princess to be old enough to go!!
4. A Mailbu and Diet sounds really good right about now!
5. I positively am going on a budget.
6. When the princess says I Love You Mommy it always makes me smile :-)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to (would it be really boring to say a relaxing night)??

It's March Already?!?!?!

OMG, I can't believe it's March already!! I have lots to update on, but just haven't had the time, and I don't know either, just wanted to stop in and say Hi and tell ya'll to have a good weekend!

I'm off to a 12 hour crop tomorrow, yea for me!! Although, I will be missing the "SISiversary" coming up in June, I'm SOOOOOOOO bummed!!! Really wanted to meet some of my online friends in person! Oh well, maybe next year!!

Some VERY sad news, my cousin Bobby passed away yesterday morning. He was such an inspiration to all, he was probably the "strongest" person I've ever known! I will be dedicating a post just to him very soon! So please keep ALL of our family in your prayers, especially his wife and two children!

Seriously, I have to go.......
